February 2025 Team Member of the Month

At Keystone Food Service, our team members go above and beyond to ensure students receive nutritious meals with a warm, welcoming experience. This month, we recognize Angela Morris, Site Supervisor at Fairview Public Schools, for her dedication and passion for serving students every day.

When Angela learned a fellow team member had recognized her, she was surprised. "I was actually shocked because I don't do my job for the recognition—I do it for the kids. I am extremely honored and appreciative to be recognized."

Among the Grandmother Standards, Standard #1 holds special meaning for Angela, "For me, I'm not just there to feed the students. I'm there to make them a meal they are excited about eating so they aren't hungry. Making sure the food tastes and looks great is how I do that." She understands that a well-prepared meal is more than just sustenance—it's an opportunity to make students feel valued and cared for.

Angela knows firsthand how a nutritious meal can impact a child's education. "Students learn better when they're not distracted by hunger. Many students are unable to get adequate nutrition at home. Providing them with nutritious meals is a way to contribute to their education and well-being." Her commitment to ensuring students are well-fed speaks to the heart of Keystone Food Service's mission of feeding the next generation.

Angela's dedication to her students, high standards for meal quality, and passion for service make her an outstanding member of the Keystone Food Service team. We are grateful for her hard work and the difference she makes in the lives of the students at Fairview Public Schools.
