Stacey Bowen is beginning her fourth year at Keystone Food Service. She joined the team as a customer service and personnel manager. After just two years, she became a Regional Manager over the South Region. In this region, Stacey oversees twelve schools: Comanche, Elmore City Pernell, Waurika, Ryan, Fox, Ringling, Wilson, Velma, Marietta, Dickson, Turner, and Thackerville.

As a Regional Manager, Stacey’s duties vary every day. She oversees team leadership, works to ensure schools meet nutrition standards and builds relationships with school administrators and kitchen teams. She is a creative problem solver, working to keep teams running smoothly. Her main focus is to ensure each school carries out the “5 Always” and living up to the “Grandmother Standard.”

When asked about the challenges she faces, Stacey said, “It is a challenge to devote the amount of time I would love to spend in the kitchens with our employees and see the students and provide the level of professional service to our districts as well. The days aren’t long enough!”

Stacey prioritizes making sure students receive well balanced, great-tasting meals. She believes well-fed students will learn and interact at a higher level. Stacey also believes that by prioritizing nutritious meals, she is the ultimate customer service representative. “I’m an old fashioned, customer service oriented person that believes when we tell a customer we will take care of their needs and provide a service that we do it to the best of our ability.”

Stacey and her teams are helping establish the Keystone Difference every day. By providing excellent service, years of experience, and creating a homestyle atmosphere in the kitchen, they are genuinely making a positive difference in their communities!

“It’s a great feeling when we can assure administrators that we are meeting the needs of their district and feeding students quality meals every day. Food is certainly a love language, and when we proved great service and wonderful food, the students feel that.”
